Kale, also known as curly cabbage, is the newest product of our portfolio. It belongs to the same family as broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts.
This vegetable is new in the Mediterranean and Europe, where consumption is booming due to the North America /USA influence.
Our farms have the ideal conditions to grow Kale, which are similar to those for broccoli, a vegetable in which we are experts.
The harvesting of Kale lasts from October to April, inclusively. It’s considered a winter vegetable due to the cold weather which improves its properties.
It is also worth pointing out the high nutritional value as well as the anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory properties that Kale has, making this vegetable one of the most beneficial products for human health.
